Advent Calendar
how to make a house advent calendar?
I want to make an advent calendar that looks like a house (the house of holy or workshop). I want to be in 3-D and not a flat wall calendar. I have a cardboard storage box, but do not know how to put in the interior areas of trafficking so that I can access them next year. any ideas or links?
Depending on the size of the box trying to hit small gift boxes to the bottom of the box. You can find these at The Container Store website. Just click on the category, then click on gift boxes and jewelry boxes are small the second page. If you find an image of Santa's workshop which has 24 windows or doors that can be expanded to adapt to the top of the carton, and align the small boxes to match the openings, and align the boxes and glue them inside. The whaa its advent calendar. I once hit food jars children to cut board as a tree. Board painted green and red jar lids with a gleam of silver. I let the children put Christmas stickers on the lids. within each bottle put something related to all sorts of Christmas stories. We conducted a chance to talk about different things, besides Santa and Rudolf. There was a Menorah, a cup Kwanzaa unit, and for Christmas Eve Nativity was a small bit. On Thanksgiving my 30yr old asked me what ever happened to the Christmas story bottle. Have fun making yours and your family can bring as many memories as it did mine.

Make the most of Advent
Every child looks forward to Christmas Eve and Christmas gifts and anticipate all the fun, but why not extend the holiday season, doing most of the four weeks of Advent leading up to Christmas.
Many children are given Advent calendars, which begin normally on 1 December, but few know that Advent represents the four Sundays before Christmas and you can start at any date from November 1927.
Plan have a new activity every three or four days. A good way to start is by buying an Advent Calendar and explain that Advent is the four Sundays before Christmas. Children can make a simple Advent wreath to put on the windowsill. Advent wreaths are usually a circle of greenery with four candles. Three candles can be blue and pink to represent happiness.
The shops are full of beautiful lights and decorations to buy, but many older people remember the pleasure of making paper chains as children. You can buy packs of ready cut strips of color, but if you can not get these, origami paper can be used or brightly colored wrapping paper.
Children get bored if they have to do more Christmas cards, but why not get to do only some very decorative things for special people such as grandparents. Give them bright beads, holographic wrapping paper to cut and shine for you can really spend Top!
Christmas dinner is one of the highlights of Christmas Day and children will enjoy making table decorations. A central motif is easily done using an empty cardboard plastic food. Mix a little plaster to fill in the box and before it is set to put a candle in the center surrounded by sprigs of holly artificial, mistletoe, pine cones and Christmas balls. The box can be painted, wide red or gold ribbon tied around it. Smaller versions can be made as cutlery individual.
Plain white or red candles can easily be decorated, but remember that everything that is used as decoration could catch fire when the candles are on.
Carol singers who used to be a regular part of Christmas, but now it seems that some children knocked on the door, singing two verses of a carol before they run out of words and then look embarrassed. Why not teach their children and some of his friends several carols and take them to sing correctly. You could do the door knock or the Salvation Army often does and sing a carol on every street in your neighborhood. People love to hear and not feel pressured to make any donation.
A visit to Santa is a must but you can also organize a special letter from Santa or even a phone call. Santa letters are postmarked from North Pole include up to 12 personal references to make each unique card. Small presents as a chocolate, a teddy bear or snow magic can also be added. Check my website for more information.
