Do Dillinger (Johnny Depp) shoot the guard at the prison to break the opening sequence of "Public Enemies"?
I thought about Dillinger real life did not kill anyone until a Bank Robbery shortly before his own death. This was more dramatic for movie purposes?
He was responsible for the murder of several policemen, stole at least two dozen banks and four police stations, and escaped from prison twice.
