The abuse of bank charges is the theft of legalization?

I have a client that in this time of year is in financial trouble. There is nothing new in So, if the truth be told, the majority of us are all a little short at this time of year. Christmas, after all, is the only time of year, where they are led to most of us to the heights of financial excesses that very few of us can afford and more than a few of us find difficult to leave.

Enter stage left, the financial houses and banks, offer us deals left right and center to help track out of debt further into debt (If it is the truth and the fine print known).

My client in particular has had problems with their mortgage and have been trying to get some sense of services department of your client's mortgage company when it revised its own monthly account statement. Her mortgage payment had defaulted this month and had spoken with your Mortgage Company and explained that this series is presented by check months after the transfer of some funds from others had been completed.

This was accepted and everything seemed fine until a few days later received several letters pointing out that the financial institution would try to collect the mortgage payment for ten days later. Will he also ensure that there were sufficient funds in your account to facilitate this (despite having been informed several days prior to this proposal their methods to clear their arrears and to have accepted these proposals), as if it were to incur late payment charges, and charges of his own bank as well.

So at the end of the day that this attempt had not succeeded in meeting my client was now double the whole of their own bank charges be charged your account, but also a double set of charges being levied by your mortgage company. There is something sick and perverted in a society and industry that makes most of its revenue from those who are least able to afford them. My client had very little in the way of funds at the beginning of the incident and no fault of their own has even less available at your disposal now!

The moral of the story? Carefully read the fine print before signing any agreement (usually hidden in the eleven or thirteen pages of most papers in the smallest font size that the printers can get away with it) and if you feel you may have problems to meet any of your payments is required to comply, contact your creditors as soon as possible and make sure you have "very clear" agreements (preferably confirmed in writing) on how you propose to deal with any rescheduling of any of its debts.

This will help to avoid the debt spiral "that occurs that some find difficult to avoid and make an already difficult situation worse.
