Build Flats
Build Flats
Why are dogs not allowed to live in flats?
Problem with handrails for the elderly and possibility of encountering dogs on stairs.
Does a two-storey building (6 flats) not count as multi-storey?
Pets are allowed in some flats, not in others. It depends on what the owner of the building prefers. A lot of it has to deal with damage to the property (chewed walls, peeing on the carpets) and disturbing neighbors (barking, howling), as well as the legality of it (who’s responsible when the dog is alone on that property or bites someone?).
If you own a condo, it again depends on what the preference is of the people who run the place. They make rules for the community.
I live in a two family flat and I’ve got three dogs, there’s a nice big yard attached to our building as well. We’re moving out and purchasing a house soon though.
Pesky neighbors in this area.
