Tow Truck charges for car stuck in sand in deserted part of Singapore?

On a Saturday night, I drove my family to a deserted part of Singapore for photo shoot. However, it was stuck in the sand on my way out. I called for tow truck services at about 730pm but help only came at about 9pm. By then it was already dark. One of the tow truck guys asked us to go home first while they recover the car as it was very late and we hadn’t had our dinner. When the bill came to us a week later, we were told that the tow truck service cost $300. Servicing of the car cost another $100, though when we left, the car engine was fine. Can anyone advise if these charges are reasonable?

ok this is what you should do call the towing company and talk with the owner or manager about the charges. The things you have working against you is that it was after hours and then They will charge you for the miles they had to drive. Yes this sucks and your at their mercy. Now for the 100 for servicing your car if you didn’t ask for it then your not liable for that. Check your bill that you signed when they were on the scene with you. The 1 1/2 hours that you had to wait you can not do anything about that.
