Can a city Police Officer arrest someone in another city and county arrest someone for disorderly conduct?
A security guard who is a police officer in another city and county made the arrest for disorderly conduct that occurred in his view. This is out of his jurisdiction. This happened is Texas. Is this legal?
he probably did not make the arrest , but made a detained the suspect until the police arrived , if he in fact made a arrest , then no it’s not going to be a lawful arrest ( at least not here in Pa ) and could find him self in trouble for unlawful restraint
also in regards to strikers post and for others who believe this
NO you can not just make a citizens arrest !! , the only time a citizens arrest is allowed , is to stop a felon , or a act of violence that is occurring in your presence
