How does Catalyst Control Center does not open?

I have Boot Camp on an iMac and my friend said it is better to use ATI drivers rather than Apple's drivers. So he told me download Catalyst Control Center and I did, but when I open anything open to everyone. I open the folder and try to install other things, but says something like can not find compatible driver or something. Help?
