help with pool …….?

Hello ~ ~ ~ We live in western Ohio and have a buried 20 x 40 pool. 33 000 gallons, vinyl siding (about 5 years of age), shallow end is 3 and half feet and drops to 8 feet at the other end. We were able to get the crystal clear waters. All soil Loose also swept with the broom. Problem is that there are patches of rough diamonds from areas of contact in the pool. The patches have a slight green tint to them. Especially in the slope and the deep part of the pool. Brushing / Scubbing with the brush does not seem to help.
