Find a Beach Wedding Cake Topper!

When you chose to have a beach wedding, you are letting your guests know that they are in for a laid back, casual affair of fun in the sun.

Your beach wedding cake can resemble the ocean scenery and be topped with candy sea shells. With all the inspiration at your bare feet, it shouldn’t be hard for your talented cake decorator to replicate the different shapes, sizes, and textures of shells found on the beach. Add some elegance to your beach wedding cake with a chocolate oyster topper revealing a candy or icing pearl.

If you can dream it, you can probably find somewhere online that sells it. Find a cake topper of a bride and groom in beach wear-it could be white bathing suits or maybe a Hawaiian t-shirt clad groom. Cake decorators can even custom create a topper out of fondant and food coloring to make tiny clones of you and your groom on your wedding day.

With all the beautiful colors the flora and fauna at the ocean, there is no reason not to include them on your cake. Tropical flowers in orange, pink, and yellow will add a stunning pop of color. Don’t ignore the greens, vibrant green of the surrounding palm fronds or the deep Blue Green of algae can be included to complement your sugar flowers.

You certainly don’t want to serve your guests sandy food, but why not have a cake topper that looks like a sandcastle? With some blue fondant for it to sit upon, your cake topper will look like an unbelievable mirage that is good enough to eat!

What 1911 grips are compatible with Llama .45 1911 a1 clone?

I am looking into buying a 1911a1 clone by Llama. I understand they are not in business anymore, but I just cant stand black grips on a blued 1911. I want checkered wood grips. From what I have read, and from comparing pictures of other 1911′s to the Llama 1911, I think the grip screws on the llama are further apart, and are very close to the edges of the grip, where the usual 1911 grips are a fraction of an inch further from the ends of the grips. Most other parts on this model, which is a .45 1911 clone, are interchangeable, so why the grips? Is that an optical illusion or are they just a little different? If so, can I buy grips with screw holes drilled to custom spec?

The grips don’t interchange. If you’re talking about the Llama Max 1, it isn’t a clone and few 1911 parts interchange.

It IS a decent pistol that generally will shoot better than its price would lead you to believe, but it is NOT a 1911.
