How I can get custom firmware on a psp vader?

I have a Darth Vader PSP for Christmas and has the v.3.17 firmware and I've been trying find out how I can get the latest custom firmware on it, but all the information that I found on google about it is confused by what I have here. thanks

New Playstation Portable Preview

Sony employs more than one PlayStation 3 in the spotlight. A more recent model of the PlayStation Portable is coming. As all knew of the E3 2007, this version of the PSP is 33% lighter than the original PSP. In addition, there will be a video output to allow your PSP to be seen on a television. The PSP is expected to have an original USB port for charging, a smaller battery, and reduced battery consumption. It will be available in black, white, silver and ice. There will be a PSP with Darth Vader's face on the side. You can customize your PSP the way you want. If you want an ice silver PSP with a picture of Darth Vader, you can do that (this is the PSP I'll buy). There is still no sign of an analog stick with this edition of the PSP, so that players will to suffer the consequences of fighting games. The new PSP is scheduled to be released on September 10, 2007.
