Where I can find a pattern to sew a recreation of the famous Travolta dressed as Princess Diana?

I have a custom seamstress make me a dress as close to original as possible for an annual Christmas party. Where I can find the pattern for this dress, and how we recommend I think a seamstress who will do a great job without charging an arm and a leg? On the other hand, how expensive do you estimate the material and labor to re-create this dress be?

That will be an expensive dress! There are plenty of grounds to the one. I guess $ 1K easy. I'd start with the bodice from Vogue 2960, and change the line neck of a neckine V. The skirt is grooved, probably for an underscore, but the ones I've found do not tell me if this is a simple front and back skirt with ruffles circular or is a fluted skirt trumpet, perhaps with gores added, or if there are multiple layers of fabric of the skirt at the bottom. It takes some good inside her blouse construction and a stay of the waist or the skirt from dragging on the weight of the fabric. This is not a dress for the inexperienced, especially taking into account the weight of velvet. Silk velvet suspect is probably the lightest I can find.
