4 Tips for winning tournaments Gamble

Double or nothing tournaments are very different from normal poker tournaments because they have a single payment structure. In a double or half of the tournament none of the players on the field to double their buy-in and half of them lose. The fact that for many cash players combined with the fact that no difference in the prize money between the first and last box: the strategy for these tournaments is very unique.

Tip # 1 – Play tight in the first stages of the tournament
At this stage of a double or nothing tournament you want to play very tight and only play big hands. The less experienced players likely to double or nothing is played many hands and you want to leave. If you find a good hand you should play aggressively in order to avoid allowing your opponent to suck out on you.

Tip # 2 – Keep your battery through the Middle Stages
In the middle stages of a double or nothing tournament the blinds start to increase and will have to steal the blinds from time to time to keep your stack size. You can not have the stack getting too small at this stage because you want a ride for later levels.

Tip # 3 – Survive the Late Stages
In the later stages should just focus on survival. At this point there will be about two thirds field which means it will only be a little more cash busts before. If you have a big stack at this point you should just stick with it and not risk the chips unnecessarily. If you have a small stack you want to compare your stack size players with fewer chips and others if you are in a position no cash you should get aggressive and try to win some chips. If you need to to be aggressive in trying to use their position to their benefit and you also should attack blinds sized batteries. These players with about half stack at this point is to double its way into the money and you can take advantage This stealing the blinds.

Tip # 4 – Avoid coin flips in the early stages
In the double or nothing tournaments are best avoided in coin flips the early stages, as they are the negative expected value. This is simply because if you lose the coin you're out of the tournament and you lose the buy-in, whereas if you're the manage to win the coin only twice the amount of chips and is not guaranteed, even cash. This theory is applicable only for the top prize you can earn is only twice its acceptance and winning the coin flip 50% do not even guarantee you this money.

Double or nothing tournaments are routine and once the inexperienced players out in the early rounds, it comes down to which best can be adjusted in the final stages and get the cards when needed.
