What exactly does the Opera Mini or Opera updates Bolt do for the Blackberry?

I'm trying to find out if these updates somehow improve the web browser for the Blackberry. I'm asking for comments because I read that the Blackberry Storm 2 web browsing capabilities are rather mediocre compared Droid with mobile OS.
