How far is the airport from the Eiffel Tower in Paris?

I have a flight coming shortly and I purposely choose to have a 7 hour layover in Paris. Will 7 hours be long enough to see the Eiffel tower? If so what is the best method to get there? Finally if there isn’t enough time what great sights will I have time to check out? Thank you

As for Paris, you find details about airport transfer here:

Eiffel Tower

Today, our tour starts by meeting Jocelyne our local guide with an introduction to one of the worlds most beautiful cities on our included tour. After a drive around the city to orientate ourselves we arrive at the Eiffel Tower. This is a must on any tour and an included highlight on Trafalgar Tours. I arrived early in order to get tickets and because it was busy today I arranged for Jocelyne to get there a little early in order to be first in line. Now we wait and wait and wait as the government employees decide to open the tower because of ice on the second level. Lucky we got here early as the lines grow and grow and although they opened late we were the first to go up.

After leaving the tower we made our way to the Ecole Militare for a view of the tower and a group photo. One of them didn’t work out but if someone’s did if you could email it to me I will pass it on the the rest of the gang and put it on the site.

From here it’s off to one of the world’s greatest art museums the Louvre for a guided visit. It seemed like everyone in Paris was there with us but with only one chance in a lifetime to go we went, after a little time for lunch and shopping.

After the Louvre we headed for the hotel and another well earned rest before our last night together after almost three weeks. We started with a cruise on the Seine River at 6pm in order to be right next to the Eiffel Tower when the sparkling lights came on.

From here a drive around the city of lights with a few stops for photos one of the best being the Eiffel Tower from the Trachadero and then the Concorde Square for views up the Champs Elysee, on our way to dinner in a little local restaurant with a few drinks to toast the end of the tour.
