Figure Guy Men

Figure Guy Men
What is the appeal of men's figure skating, if you're a man? Does it have to be gay to like?

I'm not homophobic at all but it is inevitable that my skin crawls during the Winter Olympics, when it is time men's figure skating. Maybe the announcers voice lisp makeup, the pseudo-drama of everything. However, I do not care peers around, and although women's figure skating is overrated (I like to watch the bobsleigh, hockey and skiing more) can be a pretty sight. Male figure skating really should not be repulsive, but my instinct is to be repelled. Anyway for a guy who is not flamingly over-the-top-gay, to really enjoy male figure skating?

Try to focus on athletics what they are doing skaters and ignore what they are using. The best way to do so would be to attend a live competition where you can see the practice sessions. It would also help to learn something about skating technique, and how the new scoring system works.
