Why this star blue flash red and green?

the stars are very further and see that light has been traveling or maybe in space for decades and passed through clouds of dust and a lot of things. That makes the stars shine and gives colors. Also, the stars are not white (unless they are white dwarfs, but the stars or Arnt really are very, very big and warm). Almost all stars have a color to them. These may be blue, red, yellow, orange or any color in between.
