When I saw Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, the villain, Col Dr. Irina Spalko was the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen, and I wanted to get in contact with the actress who played her, Cate Blanchett, telling her what a good job she did on making the character attractive.

You really think your going to be able to contact Cate Blanchett? She is an Oscar nominated if not Oscar winning actress. She gets thousands of fan letters that go unanswered. Just watch some of her movies. I would suggest Im Not There. It was one of her best performances.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

It is the fourth

second film in the saga of Indiana Jones, created by George Lucas and directed by Steven Spielberg. Released nineteen years after the previous film, the film acknowledges the age of its star Harrison Ford through the establishment of himself in 1957. Pays tribute to science fiction B-movies of the time, Indiana Jones bites against Soviet agents led by Irina Spalko (Cate Blanchett)-for a psychic alien crystal skull. Indiana is aided by his former lover Marion Ravenwood (Karen Allen) and his son Mutt Williams (Shia LaBeouf). Ray Winstone, John Hurt, Jim Broadbent and also part of the supporting cast.

Synopsis
In 1957, Colonel-Doctor Irina Spalko and a convoy of Soviet agents posing as U.S. soldiers infiltrate a military base on the Nevada desert. They force Indiana Jones to lead them to a box of "Hangar 51", where lie the remains of a creature alien that crashed ten years before in Roswell, New Mexico. Indiana attempts to escape, but is frustrated by his partner Mac, who reveals that he is working with the Soviets. After a fight and an elaborate vehicle chase through the store, Indiana escapes on a rocket sled in desert, where he stumbles upon a nuclear test town and survives a nuclear blast by hiding in a lead-lined refrigerator. While being interrogated, Indiana discovers she is under investigation by the FBI because of his ties Soviet Indiana again Mac Marshall College, which offers an indefinite leave of absence to avoid be fired by the investigation. In a Train Station in Indiana is stopped by greaser Mutt Williams and said his old colleague, Harold Oxley, disappeared after of discovering a crystal skull near the Nazca lines in Peru. Indiana and Mutt go to a local restaurant, where they discuss Akator (also known as El Dorado) Crystal Skulls, and the tribe Ugha. Mutt passes Indiana a letter from Oxley. Soviet agents approach them, starting a college persecution. Indiana realizes that the Soviets were behind Mutt to look to decode letter Oxley.

In Peru, Indiana and Mutt discover that Oxley was locked in a psychiatric hospital church work until the Soviets kidnapped him. In the old cell Oxley, Indiana discovers clues to the grave of Francisco de Orellana, a conquistador who disappeared in 1500 while searching Akator. Indiana finds the crystal skull that Oxley hid in Orellana's grave. The capture Indiana and Mutt and take them to the Soviets place of detention camp of Oxley and Mutt's mother (and former Indiana-lover), Marion Ravenwood. Indiana learns that the Soviets believe the skull, magnetically attracts even non-ferrous objects, is an alien life form, and has great psychic power; Oxley has suffered a mental breakdown due to over-exposure the powers of the skull. Marion reveals that Mutt's real name is Henry Jones III and is the son of Indiana. The four escape from the Soviets, leading to a chase long vehicle involving a sword fight between Mutt and Spalko, and a swarm of killer ants Siafu. Escaping an amphibious vehicle, Indiana, Mutt, Marion, Oxley and Mac arrive at the Temple of Akator, a Mayan-style pyramid in the Amazon jungle. To say that is a double agent for the CIA working against the Soviets, Mac enters the temple with Indiana and the group, but actually leaving a trail of homing devices to follow Spalko.

The group enters the temple and Indiana uses the skull to open the door to a tomb, where thirteen crystal skeletons, one missing a skull, are seated on thrones. After the Soviets arrive and again reveal the complicity Mac, Spalko places the skull of the skeleton. It initiates communication with the group through Oxley using a Mayan dialect. Indiana translates this to mean that aliens want to give a gift "great." Spalko demands to "know" everything, and the skulls begin transferring the knowledge in his mind. As a portal to another dimension appears in your room, Oxley regains his sanity and explains that the aliens are interdimensional beings who taught the warriors their advanced technology Ugha. Indiana, Mutt, Marion and Oxley escape from the temple, but Mac and soldiers are absorbed by the portal. The shape of skeletons in a single alien which continues to feed Spalko with knowledge, however, the knowledge overwhelms Spalko, causing it to ignite and disintegrate, with her scattered essence absorbed into the portal as well. The temple collapses and saucer stands Flying debris and disappears as the Amazon River floods in the valley. After his return home, Indiana is reinstated and made an associate dean of Marshall University, and he and Marion are married to.
