How to make a beaded keychain?

So I was wondering, with 0.15 wire, a keychain, pliers right and my accounts, how I do to get the pearl boot to keep the beads on the keychain? I did one with a crimp and crimp roof as the "start" of the grain, and closed in the same way … but idk if it will hold yikes! help please =)
