Lego Animal
What great ways have you found to organize your child’s toys?

I’m always looking for fun new ideas to organize my sons toys. I buy the shobox size plastic tubs to keep his Lego Sets in. I can label them with the names of the different sets and put the Instruction Booklets in them. This makes it easier when we want to build certain things. I also think it will be cool to take empty animal cookie containers (the big plastic ones with round colorful lids) and fill them with the miscellaneous legos then make a shelf to slide them into on their side where all you see it the colored lid. I think it would kind of look like what you see at the Lego stores. Anyway if you have fun ideas please share.
Wow you guys are coming up with some good stuff. Some I already do, but I love the ideas. I’m glad I’m not the only organizing nut.

I would also take a picture of what is in the bin so that your non verbal child can still figure out what he wants and then try to get him to say it :)

I bought different colored milk crate containers and certaing things went in certain colored containers…it helps kids learn their colors as well…can you put this in the RED box? Once we had some basic colors down, usually every red toy ended up in the red box, but they were learning, so it was ok :)
