Off Brand bending Lego Kit sells on TV in the 90s?

When I was a kid, I remember seeing these ads of things off the mark lay these were established so that you could turn around the bricks to make the models round, like a crown. Was also in a blaze in the format dark. Does anyone remember what these things were called. I have attached a link to a drawing I did of painting representing the blocks. Consider how you can turn the green block around one in the connector that allows the model to make curved brick. Thanks!
