I have my design, but can not find the parts you need, how I can fix this problem?

Our response:

I would say that creativity is the way right to resolve any difficulties in design with LEGO pieces. After all, that's what has to do with LEGO. Of course I can not tell how the design of models with pieces from his own collection, but I can give some general tips:

– Choose the colors common to their designs. Yes, I would like to build dark blue or dark green all the time, but his collection is probably so full of red and yellow parts as mine. Green and orange are cool but also much less common than red and yellow. According peeron (4), the most common colors are black, white, gray, red, yellow and blue.

– Some parts are no longer available. But often, the parties suspend are replaced by others with only small changes in shape. That is wise advice: when you can not get a certain part, try to replace it with a similar role.

Of course, creativity is not everything. You need a good collection of pieces to be creative. But a good designershould not blame your collection part of limitations their lack of inspiration.
