How your Renault dealer will make you young again

I tell you what, as a young man was brilliant. Yes, I know I'm only 24 now, but I'm talking about when I was six or seven and could play with my toy cars, build vehicles that defied the laws of physics in Lego and my dad's career in SCX. Sitting in the cinema recently, I saw Speed Racer (I think I make up exactly 100% of the world's population has seen the film) and I really did not enjoy it. Set in the future, the crux of the film revolved around a boy named Speed Racer who deftly ran around a track in a full-size Scalextric futuristic car. Many define the severity minutes later, with bright neon lights whizzing past my eyes I was hooked – the home never seemed so slow and boring.

This made me think that it is socially acceptable for a man 24 years of age, to push toy cars around the floor? Or how about unearthing some Lego again? After much deliberation, I decided against this as I hope to hold on to my last girlfriend and crying with her swallowing a Lego Brick is not attractive. Finally, after I opened the dusty box to my Scalextric and I'm not ashamed to say that I spent all weekend assembly, then adjust the races round and round until my trigger finger went numb. The car collection he had amassed much surprised me, I have everything NASCAR, Formula One, super cars, British Touring Cars and Le Mans drivers. I like to remain impartial in reviewing a car, but in short the R27 seems so jaw droppingly impressive that even if the rest of the car was nonsense would not matter. Finish light yellow, fitted with a body kit wide arch, more air vents of a skyscraper, Recaro racing seats, alloy wheels, unique graphite and the most beautiful F1 inspired rear diffuser R27 instantly sent me back to 1991. The fun however does not stop at the exterior and sits on an R27 chassis Renault races which is 27 percent stiffer in front and 30 percent on the back for a game earlier versions and makes the car feel as if on rails, making all the roads in a giant Scalextric track.

The driving experience is enhanced when one considers why has 197 in his name – which is the amount of horses crammed under the hood. A gearbox six-speed helps get the power to the road as quickly as possible even though you want to drive as slowly as possible, not only to show off your racing decals, but to conserve gasoline in what is likely to be triggered another ten pence a liter, as I write this.
