America was built (unfortunately for the environment) Industiral manufacturing mainly around the cities of America, I live in New England and have seen many large companies such as LEGO, wire Springfield and many close their doors and move to Mexico for cheap labor, which means more profits for the few at the top and unemloyment for the American worker. The backbone of America is the working class, the rich stay rich and the poor have paid and yet the government allows these companies to do this and then sell us products cheaper imports and not just economic in price but of quality. We are being forced to be only afford cheap shit that does not last in stores and these very end outlets closing hundreds of local businesses that used to sell the quality and just as, if not more … importany SERVICE. First USA was founded on the premise of "Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness" Governments should provide for its citizens to achieve these ideals which ever way they see fit (within reason). Governments should not remove the freedom of companies forbiding and citizens to find happiness wherever you are. For many I'm sorry, if not, the pursuit of happiness is based on money and if it is cheaper to ship factory other countries to create a better return on their money, in theory, they should. That said, I as an American desire that companies can take account of the Pride of America, in addition to achieving a return on investment of decent ions. I hope that these industries want to build here, but I think the best way to stay here is to be incentized to stay. This occurs most often through tax breaks and incentives. There are many in this country who say that the rich get richer and that this country is controlled by corporations. While I would agree that this is partially true, we as Americans break sobotage taxes for the wealthy and corporations. The leaked theiry of the Reagan era economic sense. If you give breaks at the high level for those who have money, they will have money in excess. Most likely, once you have that money, they want more. How can they do that? They start businesses, reinvest in the existing ones, employ other people, etc.. Trickle-down economics while the works in question. Our American society is so materialistic wealth and driven by the marketing we do on ourselves that we always want more. Yes, it's human to want more, but we have climbed to an unhealthy level. We want the money and things so that we will do anything to get it. As a result this need, we demand more money from our employers so that we can support that addiction to material things. If we ask for more money then the company has less profit to distribute to its shareholders. If there is less money to distribute after the shareholders are not happy and could shot-put the investment diluting the value global enterprise. If the company were to be devalued, then you may have to lay off workers or pay less in salary. A remedy to keep the value of the company and its shareholders happy with their investment is to lower costs. It may reduce costs include outsourcing. You can see this outsourcing as a positive thing. If you become unemployed as a result of foreign companies, then unemployed workers must acquire new skills to survive. That education can improve economy because high-skill workers earn more money and more money means more money to invest in the economy. I will say however, that this transition the highly skilled work must happen at a snails pace. We can not eliminate 10,000 jobs in a region and hope that all are able to learn something again immediately.
