I've built about 1500 plastic model kits in the last 35 years … airplanes, boats, ships, submarines, tanks, cars, etc. I built three wooden vessels (Eagle, Constitution, and victory), 2 large fiberglass boats RC (USS Reuben James & USS Mobile Bay) and 6 planes of balsa and tissue as well. My favorite model of Tamiya USS Enterprise (CVN-65) in 1 / 350 scale: I scratch built the entire bay hangar, "what has changed from of the 1970s to the present configuration, added engraved brass detailing, built three of its Carrier Airwing 1998 Cruise. It took three years for me to finish. They also built hundreds of stage properties …
