Collectible Lego Figures: a success of Lego and fans

Lego and the production of two series of collectible minifigures range and the Series 3 already approved, it seems that the concept of the collection figure has been a big hit with fans. Lego came out with the first wave in May, the sale of the packaged blind minifigures for $ 2 each in retail stores.

Although there were 16 different figures in the range of the series 1, fans had to make when buying dishes as there was no no indication in the figure package you choose. That was until hardcore fans began to decipher the bar codes on the back of each package and then were able to cherry pick the more unusual shops and favorite figures. Not surprisingly, Lego has decided to remove one bar code 3 version of its series.

With the number 1 all but sold worldwide, prices are starting to rise in the secondary market and no doubt the launch of series 2 later this years inject more interest in this inaugural release. While some parents resent the high prices some demand figures, Lego has been clear from the principle that this is a product of collection, limited in production number, as well as commercial card market where collectors buy a package without know what's inside, but the hope of a rare card.

For those wondering the scarcity of each figure in particular the breakdown of each sealed box of Lego is as follows:

So with those numbers the most Rare are the figures for Hunter, Entertainer, Clown, Luchdor, RN, Zombie Skater. If you are still the most sought after depends on his popularity among fans and collectors. Judging chat internet forums seems to be the most sought after figures are not necessarily the rarest, with Forestman, Zombie Cheerleader, and figures obtained most of love.

It will be interesting to see the evolution of collectible minifigures market for next year. One thing is certain, Lego has a winner on its hands and the fans can enjoy the addition of some great figures to your collection.
