What Xbox 360 game is the best for my children, ages 8 and 6?

I have four children. Brandon 8, Michael 6, Abby 3 and 7 months old Tyler. My husband and I are a little tight on money this year for Christmas because they just moved into a larger house about 3 months so we are trying to limit the amount Christmas gifts we give to children this year. I have a few toys that everyone wanted to put on your Christmas list and brought some new clothes too. Last year my husband bought an XBOX 360 boys and have some games on your list you want. My husband and I agreed that each receives a game. What game is the best and aproppiate for them? Tony Hawk Series Lego Star Wars II Sid Meier's Pirates! Sports Games of the NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, Gears of War Dead Rising If you have any other big kids game for XBOX 360 please tell me. Thanks for your help!

Dead Rising and Gears are not "appropriate" but they are very very fun games, really the best of the lot. Dead Rising is not too hard either, and zombies beat you up for your choice of "appropriate." Lego Star Wars (any of them) are really good games too. Find out what the sport to their children as the best and make the game you buy is made by EA (Electronic Arts). Tony Hawk's always good too. A game that suggests not on the list is Project Gotham Racing 4. If you like racing games.
