Can someone help me find the kind of LEGO ship I’m talking about?

Ok, first of all I’m 33, but it is to show my kid who’s 9.
It’s a Lego Spaceship from the 80′s (I had it when I was about 12, so, it’s at least 20 years old).
As I can recall, it was about 12 inches in length, the front part (cockpit) could detach from the rest of the ship, and the back would open. Inside it was a little lunar vehicle, that’s about it…

I hope that my description is enough for someone to tell me what the number or serial number is…
