The truth to this question is unfortunately there are no “cheap” prices for discontinued Lego’s anywhere. People who own these will find a way to stick them on eBay to get top dollar whether they have an account or have to use a trading assistant.
But they did reissue the set you want in 2000 . 6762 but these sell for over $300.
The original in a perfect unopened box was sold last year at $475 with $30 shipping .
