I'm looking for a set of building blocks in the mid-90; LEGO MEGA BLOCKS, etc?

I really hope someone can help me. I looking for two sets of construction toys that used to have in the early mid 90's in particular. A game that can recall vividly, was a mansion pink, blue with a green roof. Each room was furnished with different blocks, including a gymnasium, dormitories, kitchen, office, and a balcony with a piano white-tailed spider. (I know this is going into great detail …) The other set I can not really remember, all I know is it was a mall, and which includes a pet store. I would love to find the toys, but I have no idea where to start. They were like Lego, but I think that were the mark, since there is no a variety of selection of girls. Mega Bloks can be … I wonder if there are other brands that all could be. If anyone has any clues to help me find these would be greatly appreciated! Thanks:)
