Lego – Best in the Line of Construction Toys!

Lego toys are one of the world’s most preferred building and construction toys. They originated in Billund, Denmark in the year 1932. The Lego Pieces were designed out of ‘wooden Building Blocks‘ by a carpenter called, Ole Christiansen. At that time, most of the dealers didn’t trust a plastic toy, resulting in insufficient sales. In the year 1954, the business actually picked up. Building a Sumo robot. A natural question on the engines, torque, and gear box …?

The goal of the contest is raw force thrust. I have (3) duplicate Electric Motor at my disposal. Will I get more power to adhere to the three in a single axis are tightened with a relationship transmission? Or would it be better to have each run independently, with all its own equipment? We are using the Lego Mindstorms robotics kit, and are limited to parties to meet anyone. Any other suggestions that may pertain to robot design or which would increase the thrust force are welcome.

I attach three single-rotor engine, with a large running torque to the shaft. When the big teams is only big enough, you can run three motors, one to, for example 2:00, one at 6:00, and 10:00. The only tricky bit is calibrating the three of them for the three of them large gear the same position at the same time. Otherwise, it could go ahead of the other two, and you'd only get two of that one. If you can, you might want to consider the use of small belts instead of gears. Belts would be easier to calibrate, though if you are locked into laymen, do not know if they have them. Belts can not provide all the power before they slip, but there was certainly easier to gauge.
