Are the new Mindstorms Nxt compatible with the previous version (2.0) MINDSTORMS?
I have a Lego Mindstorms RCX 2.0 ("brain") and a collection of sensors, and wondered if the MINDSTORMS NXT can use the MINDSTORMS sensors 2.0 and vice versa. Can users LEGO help? Thanks!
Sad to say, but Classic Lego Mindstorms NXT and The New are different .. jump dramatically with Bricks To Pieces Technique, it was necessary to implement a new brick Smart, motors, sensors and cables .. The story of Lego toys
Surely you've heard or played with LEGO, one of the most popular toys of the word. Today I want to tell you a little more on the history of this great company.
Ole Kirk Christiansen was a carpenter from Billund, Denmark, which opened a carpentry shop in 1916. He and his team of apprentices built furniture for people in the area. In the company name was coined by Christiansen and the Danish phrase. Ole Kirk Christiansen also his son Kirk Godtfred lego invented, the years of the Lego Brick here are the best teams in the history of hand-picked.
In 1954, Christiansen's son, Godtfred, had become the junior managing director of the LEGO Group. It was his conversation with an overseas buyer that struck the idea of a toy system. Lego comes from the creative mind of a carpenter Dane Ole Kirk Christiansen in the early 1930s. The name LEGO was coined in 1934, which means "play well" and has certainly live up to its name. The story begins in 1932 when carpenter Ole Kirk Christiansen in Denmark created a company to manufacture a variety of household items like ironing boards and stepladders with wooden toys.
Christiansen company continued making wooden toys until 1960, when his store was destroyed wooden toy in a fire. In 1934, the company named "LEGO" an abbreviation of the Danish words "leg godt" or "play well" .. Geoffrey Kirk Christiansen travels to England and meets a purchasing agent at the ferry. They talk about toys. Ole Kirk Christiansen was a carpenter who lived in Bilund, Denmark, and is also where the company began.
Little is known from a decision during the Depression, one of the most popular toys in the world is being created.
For over 30 years, the company made only LEGO toys and related items. Then in 1968, the company opened its first LEGOLAND – where hometown of Billund, Denmark. The combination of LEGO Building Blocks with a computer, the Robotics Invention System 1.5 is currently the most advanced Set Lego Company's line of technology-based products. This toy is for users ages of twelve and above, and includes all moms, dads and grandparents who want to join in. Lego company can still reap the benefits of its sales of bricks as this software will be reliable Highload Lego Mindstorm brick.
Even the Lego company will probably never be known where this association.
Unfortunately, the Lego company sometimes and often behaves monopalistically overpricing their products, with filial loyalty to succeed. Lego has been losing money in recent years but still controls a large market. The LEGO company patents the beam and tube coupling system. This new system makes much more stable models.
The company expanded its Lego production lines to include lights, cameras, sensors, gears and engine accessories that complement the Lego RCX. The RCX programmable brick was to be connected to a PC and given instructions to carry out very complicated tasks.
Whatever new policies LEGO, LEGO is a great toy, and the company has done much to entertain the children throughout the world. Including me.
