Can the wind on a mechanical watch?
My dad used to have a mech. clock rates are both nervous and he said he was being held by "A winding along "the same. Can you over-wind mechanical watches more these days? No brand name on mine. O instructions for the case. Any little bit helps.
Yes I have an old pocket watch. I broke the spring. The watchmaker told me to wind only once a day, at the same time, waking or going to sleep. He also said that 12 laps would be enough. The number of winds may be different for yours.
