Review Lego Star Wars Tantive IV September 10 198

The Tantive IV is one of the most emblematic of the Star Wars saga. It is the first boat you see in the series, if you count the original trilogy first, as the explosions in space realizing a monolithic Star Destroyer. Also known as the rebel Blockade Runner for the same reason the game has been released once before in the large-format Lego Ultimate Collector Set.

This set is the regular scale and comes Lego four minifigures. A C3PO, R2-D2, Princess Leia (with buckets of hair) and an ancient figure first version of the West Indies captain. While the other three figures are seen before in Other Sets, the West Indies captain is unique to the series and Lego have done a great job that distinguishes it from other rebel officers by the color of his uniform and the unfortunate expression on his head.

Like many figures in these days the town Antilles has two expressions, one on each side of the head. As captain Antilles is notorious for being the first person Darth Vader chokes on screen in the opening moments of A New Hope alternative expression reflects their fear (in a nice kind Lego by the way). The addition of Darth Vader and Stormtrooper minifigures have completed the set very well but that's a small complaint.

Obviously, the vessel itself is the major part of all the rounds of 1400 pieces. The Tantive IV measures 20.5 "(52 cm) long, 7.5" (19 cm) wide and 5.5 "(14 cm) high so it's all a big boat. Inside is a small amount of play area, a desk, away from the sheath and large bath for two figures. Swooshability factor is quite low, as can not be collected easily, which is most often recommended to play on the floor.

For ardent fans of Lego no stickers in this series all. All parts are printed detailed parts, including large cabin screens, which makes the whole very attractive. Outside there is a lot of details outside the fuselage, which is a nice touch. Priced at $ 149.99, obviously, is not a set for everyone, but Lego has done a great job in replicating emblematic of this ship minifig size.
