Lego Pirates announced for 2010

At 2010 this week in San Diego Comicon, a series of big announcements in the world of entertainment. While Many fans went gaga over the new trailer for Tron Legacy or were blinded by the fear of many films and comic book panels, there was a small figure in a low voice that made a great stir in the world of Lego.

Sitting on a camel in a diorama of Prince Of Persia Lego was the figure of Jack Sparrow, Captain Jack Sparrow to be precise, and looked very, very cool. Of course there have been rumors of new Pirates of the Caribbean Lego Sets From Lego and Disney have collaborated to produce games based on movies Pixar and the live action movie Prince Of Persia. Not only that but interrupted his popular theme Pirates of the joint giving way to another franchise with Pirates an innate sense of fun and popularity.

But rumors are just that, until proven beyond a doubt and this weekend fans are gave his first sign of the test. The minifig Jack Sparrow is as fresh as you would like to be. Jonny Depp played the character with such grace and costume design was ground so it would be difficult to fail in replicating the essence of Jack Sparrow unless you did something very bad, but the Lego designers have done it again and gave a number that just oozes cool manic.

So while fans await the demonstration of new actors and sets, no doubt, to be published in the accumulation of the fourth film in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, On Stranger Tides in 2011, we can be sure that the designs are in good hands (megablocks anyone?) and honor both the rarity and the depth of the characters.

Bring me that horizon in 2011!
