What is proper attire if you’re summoned for jury duty?
I will be summoned for jurty duty this week, in NYC, and I’m a college student. I have no slacks, khakis, or business casual clothing. The best I can do are jeans that are a Medium Blue wash, a cardigan, and probably a white shirt. Also, as for shoes….I need help in that dept. I just have sneakers and ballet flats.
Suggestions/advice?
I understand and appreciate that you want to look professional, but it is acceptable to wear what you have. In this economy it is not a good idea to spend money on clothes you don’t need.
Wear the outfit you described with the ballet flats, unless you actually meant ballet slippers. : )
