Star Wars Force FX lightsaber?

So recently, I've been thinking about buying a Lightsaber Star wars force fx, but I am at a loss as to where to shop. I know of several websites that sell it, as thinkgeek.com, Hasbro.com, and Amazon.com. The only problem is, sabers light is made of two different companies that are Master Replica Hasbro i think or something. What I'm trying to do is, is there really a difference between brands? Pros and cons of each? For pros and cons, looking especially in the sense of the sword, and brightness and sound. The brighter the better! And lasty, you guys recommend any of them for the duel? And to be more specific, I'm looking at a blue saber, which is well going to be Obi-Wan, Anakin o. Thanks in advance.

Master Replicas originally came out with the lightsaber effects and are getting harder and harder to find because Hasbro has taken over production of the sword. Is there a difference? No. I have a lightsaber some of the companies and both are in good work during the time I had. For the duel? That depends on how hard you're swinging. I have a seven and six years old and they duel at times without messing up. Like a full grown adult, I know my own strength so with a few good Wacks, F I know that the swords above. They are too nice and too expensive to want to break. Colors? It is a matter of shopping around. I bought my online Darth Maul, Darth Vader my and Luke Skywalker (green) Spencer, and my other two at ToysRUs. If you really want to get down to some serious action games, try www.ultrasabers.com. They sell some $ 30 – $ 40 lightsabers that light up very sweet and can take a hit but did not look as good. If a bust, at least not spend more than $ 100 …

Collectors Guide To Lightsabers

Perhaps the most famous prop weapon in the history of cinema is the lightsaber, used by both the brave Knights Jedi and the evil Sith Lords, in George Lucas series, Star Wars movie. This iconic movie weapon is one of the most coveted movie memorabilia, and not surprising that the original props used in movies are almost never for sale. However, at the call of the lightsaber is not surprising that a large range of replica versions are available for collectors.

The origin of the lightsaber is variously attributed to classic science fiction stories describing the force-field weapons, and certain episodes of TV science fiction, but Lucas is on record as saying he simply wanted a weapon that allows swords such as the period adventure films like The Adventures of Robin Hood, and since simple metal swords that seems out of place, and the film already contained laser guns, the obvious solution was for "lightsaber."

The props seen in A New Hope was built from zero battery packs old camera flash, and various hardware. Perhaps not surprisingly, the exact battery packs used are always difficult to find, due to collectors wishing to "remake" of the utility. Later films used custom machined designs, although in some cases, components of previous models were reused as part of the lightsaber Obi-Wan is used as a basis for Luke's lightsaber seen in the final film.

The lightsaber effects seen in movies is entirely done in post-production, including original movies, with painted frames on the movie so individual to produce the pulsating light. This was not the original intention however, as the initial plan was to use spinning blades coated with alternating patches of reflective material, and mount a directional light beside the camera, so that the blades physically reflect back the light. In practice, the end result was not particularly effective so the choice of post-production took place.

If you search for net or on auction sites you might be able to find some of these items for sale, although most likely at prices far higher than what was originally for. Given the popularity of Star Wars in general, and a sword of light, in particular, it seems unlikely that these will be the latest versions of these iconic movie weapons to be released.
