Packing Gown
Packing Gown
Should I get a nursing gown or not?
I am getting really close to my due date so I am trying to get my hospital bag packed. Is it really worth it to buy a nursing gown or should I just use a hospital gown while at the hospital? Any other suggestions? What did you do?
I should add that I have been having a lot of issues finding one. It seems like none of the stores have them and i was just wondering if it was worth it or not.
I’m going to tell you right now nursing gowns are the best creations in the entire world….besides sex…..lol
Truth is i stayed in the hospital gowns the entire time i was in the hospital, so you needing one there isn’t likely. But when it’s 3 o’clock in the morning and the baby is screaming it’s hungry the easiest thing to do when your eyes are still closed is to have a nursing gown so you can just whip it out and not have to worry about raising your shirt up or any other extra hassle.
I didn’t have a nursing gown, what i had was a nursing shirt. That way you can wear pants or shorts, because after you have the baby you might not want to just be wearing a gown, i felt a lot better knowing i had shorts on, but even if you can’t find one i would suggest maybe getting a maternity pajama set and just cutting slits in it and then sewing it together at the top and bottom to where it looks like a nursing gown. It might be cheaper that way.
Hope this helps….
