What set Harry Potter out from all of the books similar to it?

What made it such a great book? My English teacher told me that it was marketed in a way he’s never seen before, but I never got around to actually asking how.

So what do you think is the reason why Harry Potter was such a hit?

I think the books were just extremely well written . I love how the plots get so complex as the books go on and slowly you realise the answer to lots of questions . I think that JK Rowling is a pure genius to have written these books . They have sold over 400million worldwide and nomatter how well a ook is marketed if it is not good it will not sell . I think it is all down to Rowling’s talent and the wonderful world that she creates that so many adults and children alike fall in love with !
