Red Green

Red Green
Will watching a 3D movie effect red green color blindness?

I am blind, red and green I want to see a 3D movie at the local cinema. I've never been to one before and people have said that using red and green lights, I know it affects me?

No, does not affect you, let me explain how it works everything. You see things in 3D, since each eye sees a slightly different subject, the brain receives two different signals of each eye, and then "woven" together and all you see is a picture but in 3D. 3D cameras both kinds of films just copy this principle by taking two points of view but at the same distance that the eyes are. The trick now is to see to trick your brain into seeing a 3D image, the camera lens on the left has a red filter on it for making it and the lens of a Cian right or green filter over it. Both films are projected on to the same screen but looking through the red / green glasses left eye sees only the picture with the lens the camera to the left and the right eye sees the picture with the camera lens right, your brain does the rest again. In my opinion should still be able to see the 3D effect, green and red lights you mention in your question are the lights of the projector, you do not see them, is projected in red and green images superimposed on the screen. If you can get some of these crystals Red / Green take a look at this, is a comic I scanned 3D for a similar question last month to see if you can get the 3D effect. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2582/3929905566_44226bf4f5_b.jpg EDIT: While I agree with you, Tony on the polarization filters (which is what I use in my still picture projector), along with polarized glasses, a person truly color blind for red and green will only see the two colors in shades of gray, so I'm pretty sure the question will continue to receive the 3D effect.
