Rock Panel
Is purple sheet rock (water and mold resistant) ok for tub/shower combo?

Its a complete remodel and I already installed it but ive heard cement board might be better, did i make a mistake?I plan to cover with a plastic shower panel 4×8 cant remember the name PPV or something like that

If planning to put a plastic of fiberglass surround over it, you ll be fine. Sealed well in the corners and at the tub so water can t get to it, it s a good product. You just cannot put tile over it with out doing a cement board thats put to the studs or on top the water resistant dry wall since they do make a trim to work doing it that way.
