What is the name of a movie about an orphaned princess….?
I remember her being a princess but she didn’t know it and she lived in an orphanage with an “evil” lady. She befriended the a young african american slave and also, a hindu man who would make her dreams real. Her father was in the war and was believed to be dead but wasn’t, he was only temorary blinded. In the end of the movie I remember her trying to cross a plank in between two houses to get to the hindu man.
