Space Mars
Would we be on mars this time next year if an entire country spent all their money on space technology?

Ok so my question is, if a country spent their entire months income on space exploration advancement would a ship be developed that could take us to mars by this time next year.

Or a years budget, feel free to adjust my question in order to give a good responce.

There are a lot of other things to consider besides just building a ship to take you to Mars. Mars isn’t just a hop skip away like the moon. It will take at least 6 months to get there from the most desirable launch point. Just the slightest thing going wrong could mean certain death for all on board. Even basic necessities like oxygen and water pose huge obstacles. Also finding some people who have the mental stability to take on a Mars trip is something else to consider. These people will be trapped in a tiny space capsule for well over a year without any sign of any kind of life whatsoever. It’s not as easy you think.
