Space Printed

Space Printed
Why is my space to put a header in Microsoft Word does not exist?

No room to put it. The text just goes right to the top of the page. My margins are set to normal yet. When printing a document that exists outside of space, but not when I see it on the computer. Can someone tell me how to get the space for a header (and footer) again? Thanks?

Sounds like you accidentally turned off the screen Interpage, also turns off the headers and footers and the top and bottom margins, but first, let's make sure that you are in Print Layout point of view. In versions of Word earlier than Word 2007 (Vista): 1.Click the View-> Print Layout menu. In Word 2007: 1.Click the View tab in the Ribbon. 2.Click the Print Layout button all the way left. Now here's how to fix the Interpage own display. 1.Find the black continuous line between the pages or on the top of the first page. 2.Click on it with the cursor. (Double click on Word 2007.) That should bring things back the way you want. Hope that helps. PS Even without any of the foregoing, the file will print correctly and appear normal in the preview.
