Lego Star Wars News Summer 2010

Have LEGO Star Wars license for a little over 10 years and their new wave of series hits stores in the U.S. Europe and Australia sometime in late 2009 and early 2010. Let's look at the last series.

In general, emphasis is still on the side of The Clone Wars of things with a pair of original trilogy battle packages to meet fans of the old school. This is understandable, since much of the television series The Clone Wars is still growing strong, with the second season showing in most countries.

These sets new prices fitswith sets LEGO that is becoming a little more expensive this year. Like most new series, if you are flying on the minifigs get you can pick the main vessels which by themselves on ebay for less.

The smaller (and cheaper), provides in this wave are the battlepacks above. Games of 8083 and 8084 sit about 80 pieces and minifigs have 4 in each set for a suggested retail price of $ 10.99 each. 8083 Rebel Troops While features are the large snowtroopers attraction in the whole of 8084 and you can expect to see these flying off the shelves as Hoth army builders increase their ranks.

Lucas is a landspeeder confidence re-release of Luke's speeder Esperanza HEW. Designed to skim through the sands of Tatooine this set has 163 pieces and comes with Luke, Obi Wan and guard assault. And yes these are the droids you are looking for both C3PO and R2-D2 come with the set that makes a well rounded set for $ 24.95.

The Swamp Republic Speeder is a whole planet of Kashyyyk, as shown in Episode 3. The speed reducer is not no big deal but the set contains Barriss Offee Jedi commander has Never has been featured in one spot ahead. It also comes with two Battle Droids and clone trooper episode 3.

Next largest set at 177 units is an elegant Speeder Freeco featured in an episode of The Clone Wars based on the Ice Planet Orto Plutonia. The set features two exclusive minifigs, Anakin Skywalker in the operation of the snow and the Indian chief talz. This set is also sold for $ 24.99.

The Droid Tri Fighter is another re-issue and this is an improvement over the original version. Indeed larger, more detailed and a Battle Droid can actually fit inside the central control console. Features 3 battle droids, 268 pieces and sells for $ 24.99.

The Tie Defender is the only offer expanded universe of this wave, which originally appeared in the Video Game Battlefront: Renegade Squadron. At $ 49.95 it may seem too expensive for only 304 pieces and two minifigs (Tie Fighter Pilot and soldier of assault). It is a great model and although it is highly swooshable opponent to rebel scum.

The last major release in this wave is the ARC -170 Starfighter, another reissue of a popular model. This version was included in the Clone Wars and comes with Kit Fisto, a droid R4-P44 Astromech and two pilots clone (each with different models of helmet). This group consists of 396 pieces and comes to the $ 59.99 retail. As most of this wave of establishing the ARC-170 contains labels to be applied.

In general, this first wave of LEGO Star Wars 2010 is a bit more expensive than versions of last year, but contains a few interesting numbers and new small vehicles to collect. I hope we can get some great games next year, but with a more satisfactory price per piece price.
