Red Letter Day and buy a Gift.Com – Taking pictures?

I do Red Letter Day & Makeover Photoshoot for @ £ 49.00, but I worry which, if not that cheap means that it is not very good or a scam. The guest reviews of the website there are all good, but that does not really help. I tend to trust the appointed day, as it is a well-known. The other option is to buy a gift.com which is twice the price and includes hair cut or color rather than hair style. Has anyone done it? Do you know if you can buy a disc of all photos after wards? I realize if it would be very expensive and probably the price at least 100 pounds.
