You know the small translucent part of the nail at the top? Well, they are a kind yellow and want to know how I can get whiter? Thanks! Are there any home remedy or something? Something you do not have to go to the store and buy? Thanks! And thanks for all the responses so far! My nails are not particularly yellow, all you would prefer they were a little whiter.

What is nuchal translucency?

What is a nuchal translucency <b>? </ B> <br/>
An ultrasound nuchal translucency ultrasound is a prenatal test that can identify high-risk pregnancies during the first quarter. Week is between 11th and 14th gestation. Besides Down syndrome, the test can also detect an increased risk of major heart efects and other chromosomal abnormalities in the fetus. Because it is done during the first quarter compared with the quadruple marker test out during the second quarter, parents are able to know their risk much earlier in the pregnancy. The test however, does not provide a definitive diagnosis. If the mother is at high risk category, it is often advised to undergo amniocentesis or a chorionic villus sampling. These procedures are invasive and carry a small risk of miscarriage. The results of these two procedures will generally the parents a definitive diagnosis. <br/>

How <b> nuchal translucency ultrasound performed? </ B> <br/>
Nuchal translucency ultrasound is done either by placing an ultrasound probe in the lower abdomen or gently inserting a thin ultrasound probe the vagina. The ultrasound measures the thickness of the cover on the back of the fetal neck. Other information needed for the test includes maternal age, gestational age fetus, and blood tests. <br/>

<b> What are the factors that influence the results? </ B> <br/>
The following are important factors influencing the results of the nuchal translucency:

– Age of gestation (week should be between 11th and 14th

– The scan is obtained with the fetus in the sagittal position

– Hyperflex or extended position of the fetus can affect the results

– The image of the fetus is extended to 75 percent within the screen

– The nuchal lucency be distinguished from the underlying amniotic membrane <br/>

It <b> a history of reversing tubal ligation a risk factor for a chromosomal disorder? </ B> <br/>
investment of tubal ligation has absolutely no adverse effects on the fetus. The correlation between tubal reversal and any chromosomal disorder is strictly due the fact that patients who undergo the majority of a tubal reversal are higher, and that older patients are inherently at increased risk of a chromosomal disorder in the fetus. <br/>
