Is your site plan Color costing customers?
Think of your website regime current color and consider if you are making your customers think such things as soap – or even death! See what I mean by reading symbolism of each color.
Red – In almost all contexts, red is a powerful, energetic color. Is often symbolizes war, bloodshed and fire. We use it to communicate the danger and warnings, as well as to symbolize love and passion.
Red on a website color scheme shows the determination, strength and energy, but can also lead to signs of aggression or anger.
Orange – Not many people like to use orange on a website too, which is why it is often used as highlight color to separate blue cold or a soft green palette. Orange is exotic and is often used on travel sites as well as nutrition and children's sites because of their attractiveness to bright young people.
Scientists and advertisers have found that orange stimulates the appetite as well. A good color choice for a site for food, food, travel or a site directed at children.
Yellow – A color happy, happy, yellow makes us think of sunshine and happiness. is bright yellow another attention-getter for the kids, and even the yellow sports cars have been sold to ensure that they "get" factor.
Yellow shouts, "the notice me! "and is ideal for highlighting messages from your most important site (as a" yellow highlighter effect, "you may see on some sites). The worst case, too much yellow can be overwhelming and aggressive, especially if there are several instances of it on a page.
Green – commonly used in sites that promote nature, health and freshness. Green is also used widely in the financial websites because of their relationship with money. Green also helps promote the idea of security (ie "green light") and peace.
The downside is that green can also denote a lack of experience. Most People see green as a positive one, however, and a color that shows your company as innovative, new and invigorating.
Blue – One of the colors more popular with American corporate logos, the blue has a calming, tranquil. In parts of South America, blue is the color of the soap! Without But in most cases, blue is one of the colors rather liked and denotes confidence, safety and reliability. Dark Blue tones are especially popular in highlighted by warm colors (red, orange and yellow) for readability.
Avoid using shades of blue and highlight foodstuffs, such as blue (Instead of orange) has been shown to decrease the appetite.
Purple – Long associated with royalty, purple is a color that highlights the extravagance and luxury. Using colors like purple and gold denotes wealth and spending. The color purple is a unique and rarely found in nature. Bright purple is often used together with yellow, orange or bright blue to promote products for children.
Purple color is also considered a more creative and when used with darker shades such as blue or black, can symbolize the mystery and the occult.
White – White is the symbol of purity, peace and cleanliness. White and green are often used to label health or cleaning products. In some Asian countries, however, white is the color of death.
Also much use of "white space" on its Web site may tend to "wash" the other colors and divert the user's attention elsewhere.
Black – In ancient times, black was the color of evil, death and mystery. In modern times black and has entered himself to be recognized as a most elegant and intriguing color. Avoid using a black background on your page, because it reduces the readability of other elements in place.
Used the black with bright, warm tones (red, orange and yellow) can convey an important message – or even dangerous – or warning.
Gray – Gray and silver can denote elegance and are often used to promote the "classic" styles or brands that have stood the test of time. Grey and green are the colors used for financial institutions and that evoke sensations of gravity and stability.
Otherwise, it may denote gray old age ("going gray ") or perhaps a company that is" behind the times. "Gray is not a good choice for a technological service, due to their need to be more "cutting edge."
Gold – like purple, gold is the ultimate symbol of luxury and wealth. Using promotes gold on black elegance, sophistication and money to spend. Much like the yellow, gold may be too much effort in his eyes. It is used to highlight areas of your site that point – especially high-priced items.
Rosa – A decidedly feminine color, pink is almost always reserved for women. Pink is a cheerful color, playful, with red, represents love, friendship and passion even.
The pink color also represents the passive and carefree attitude. Along with Light Blue, yellow and green, pink can mean the spring.
Hopefully this brief color analysis will help you see Your Own color scheme website more closely to determine whether or not it is time for a whole new look!
