How to play as Darth Vader in Star Wars Battlefront 2 for PS2?

I just got the game wars star and I know how to play as Darth Vader from the beginning or as close to home as possible, it is possible or do you have to unlock the first things

if you're playing galactic conquest, you must choose United Dark Empire. must buy the bond from LEADER in the bonus menu. before attacking a planet, select and use the leader bonus. in certain planets is Darth Vader. planets are Dagobah, Endor, Hoth, Naboo, and Tantive 4. (Pretty sure that …) on immediate action, leaders Must Have been activated in the options, and also one of these planets mentioned above. In addition, instant action, if you select Mos Eisley map, and choose the mode of ASSAULT, all units will be heroes (the leaders) and you can play as Darth Vader until you are blue in the face.
