OBI NZEKWUE: WAR OGWASHI-UKU/BRITISH 1909 NWA and Anika IYOGOLO NWABUZO AGBAMBU, LEGENDS OF THE WAR. By Chris Okafor

Nzekwue, Dieyi younger brother took up the mantle of leadership as the monarch of 12 Ogwashi-Uku Kingdom in 1888 to a very advanced age. It was just, and the king more efficient than the clan has had and was recognized as a catalyst and architect of modern Ogwashi-Uku.

Shortly after his ascension to the throne, Obi Nzekwue faced the accusation that he had Deyi Obi buried the deceased with a human being, the white colonialists colonial office in Asaba. In the absence of an acceptable solution regarding the disagreement between Obi and the British Nzekwue in Asaba, everywhere in the two cities had an atmosphere of war was imminent. The king called his warlords among them and Anika Nwabuzo Iyogolo NWA Azungwu Agbambu of rooms and other Umudei, Ubu Ogbe Agidiahe and were recognized for their value .. On June 16, 1909, when the meeting came, he informed his generals and warlords in what had become of their relationship with white colonialists to Asaba.
