British Forces standard issue personal weapon.?
Who thinks that the (Crappy) SA80 A2 sould be replaced by the more reliable American M16.
I was quite lucky as I was my section Machine gunner but I have had experiance using the SA80 and my comrades were constantly complaining about their weapons.
D generation X… I am British you fool I was in the Royal Marines. And besides the M16 is the best standard issue weapon available to troops from around the world. On a recent survey conducted by The British Military 70% of troops say that they are infavour of a change of standard issue weapons.
the A2 is a good weapon if there is a bit of a build up of carbon on it but we are made to clean it so often if we where to change the standard weapon if would have to be the Canadian version on the M16
